Aveda- Pure Abundance shampoo and conditioner Review

Since having eczema I have really had to think about what I use on my scalp. As a few years ago the eczema I had on my hands spread to my scalp and behind my ears. This meant most shampoos I used made my scalp itchy and flakey. This really got me thinking… it’s really important to invest in great products that not only do the job but nourish.

Aveda Pure Abundance Shampoo and Conditioner- If like me, you have fine hair and you have tried every product under the sun, to add volume in to your lifeless locks then this could be for you. With organic acacia gum which helps thicken each stand of hair, hair is left feeling conditioner and full of volume. The shampoo doesn’t foam as much as you would expect. Which at first feels odd, however a chemical similar to products used in soap, which you wash your car. Is add to most shampoos to create that foaming affect. However Aveda is 95% natural, meaning most nasty chemicals are removed. A little does also go a long way, in case you are worried about price. So a large bottle will last you a while.

For me this product has been a savior for my skin and scalp. It also feels as though I am really nourishing my hair and keeping it in good condition.

Using both shampoo and conditioner has added effect, so make sure you try both!

Aveda thickening tonic- this light weight formula which when sprayed into the roots of the hair adds a weightless volume to the roots. I also love the fresh smell this product gives.

Exfoliating Cleanser- the thick creamy texture of this product mixed with small exfoliating beads helps to clear the skin after a long day. I would love to try more of this product, so may have to buy a bigger bottle!
